Theory and practice of postural analysis
The Pilates Method of Exercise – covering the mechanics, breath and essense of 120 exercises plus modifications for specific body types, postural issues and conditions
Classic Pilates exercises plus all progressions and regressions
Effective use of the Reformer to enhance stability and strength extremity conditioning, flexibility, joint stability, balance and coordination
Verbal cueing, imagery and tactile cueing for performance enhancement and client motivation
Effective communication and observational skills
Formation and grouping of exercises – exercise layering to create effective class design
OUR PROGRAM PROVIDES A BALANCED AND THOROUGH BLEND OF THEORY, OBSERVATION AND PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE TO HELP YOU MASTER THE PILATES REPERTOIRE.
YOU WILL BE CONFIDENT AND EQUIPPED TO INSTRUCT REFORMER PILATES AT A PILATES STUDIO, GYM GROUP CLASSES, SEMI OR PRIVATE SMALL GROUP, AT HOME, OUTDOORS OR IN A CORPORATE ENVIRONMENT.
