ABSOLUTELY! We welcome and encourage everybody – all ages, genders, and fitness levels. If you are experiencing Pilates for the first time make sure to attend our Pilates Foundations Class (a prelude to our signature Total Reformation Class). As a beginner, when joining the Total Reformation Class start with the Level 1 option provided and focus on the muscle contractions & smaller movements. Our instructors are here to help you through class, offer modifications, and answer any questions you may have. If you have never been on a reformer before and are a little nervous, why not take advantage of our discounted intro-private session for just $65 – to schedule contact us at info@vivapilatestudios.com.au.

Every journey starts with a single step. Your Pilates journey with us starts by downloading our app ‘VIVA Pilates Studios’ & creating a login! Here you’ll be able to book one of our introductory offers under ‘Buy’ Services option. If you’re new to Pilates make sure to start your journey with our Foundations Class! If you are a seasoned Pilates goer we recommend starting with a Total Reformation Class which provides Level 1, 2 and 3 options.

Our sessions are all about lengthening and strengthening your body and most importantly having FUN! Expect to leave our studio walking a little taller, feeling stronger, calmer and more connected!

Yes, please arrive 10 minutes early so one of our friendly instructors can greet and settle you into class.
For both hygiene and safety pilates grip- socks are compulsory. We have grip socks for sale at the studio for your convenience or can be purchased online here.  Wear clothing that you feel comfortable in 🙂 Workout pants and a singlet or t-shirt – ideally clothing that slightly hugs the body allows the instructor to help correct form and technique. Our members often bring a bottle of water and small towel.

Our studios open 15 minutes prior to class start. Either side of class times the studio is busy facilitating one-on-one sessions or small group sessions. Interested in 1-on-1 sessions? You can get started with 3 x 30 minute private sessions for just $167. Available to purchase via the app.

Bookings open 7 days in advance with all class bookings made via our app.

Yes, we definitely recommend doing this. We keep up to seven names on our waitlist as we do get cancellations often so it’s very likely you’ll get into your favorite class! You’ll receive an email and text message if a space becomes available and our clever booking system will automatically add you into the class. A ‘waitlist confirmation’ simply means to text back Y to confirm your spot or N if you cannot make it.

Please log into your account via our app and cancel online. Unfortunately, if you do not cancel within our ‘9 Hour Cancellation Window’ the session will be forfeited. If you don’t cancel your spot & do not show for the class you will be charged a ‘no-show’ fee of $25.00 so please make sure to cancel your spot to allow a fellow member a chance to join in!

80% of our classes are suitable for pregnancy. VIVA HIIT and Core are the only two classes on the timetable not suitable. We also offer specific pre & postnatal Pilates classes at 10.00am throughout the week and for expectant mummas wanting a comprehensive online option make sure to check out our 12 Week Bumpacise Program!

You will start to feel a difference in your body after just one session. For optimal results, classes should be taken 2 – 4 times per week. Actual results will vary between participants,  depending on how often you are coming, what other exercise you are doing and what you are fuelling your body with day to day! We offer Nutrition Guidelines to further enhance your results. Additionally we offer specifically designed in-house programs and you can find all the information about the next program that we have running here.

Pilates is brilliant to isolate and strengthen the small muscle groups in the body. Don’t be afraid to let your muscles shake – it’s a good thing! It means muscle fatigue which will improve with your advancement in mastering the Pilates technique and as you build strength.

To ensure safe use of the facilities, participants need to be at least 13 years of age. If you are under 16, your parent or guardian will need to authorise your attendance by signing a waiver.

Yes! Your self mastery hours can be completed under the supervision of any Certified Pilates Instructor.

The instructor being observed does not need to hold a VIVA Education qualification. We highly recommend viewing a wide range of instructors and also participating and observing classes at a studio that you would like to be employed at. This will give you a wide range of inspiration to draw on when curating your own signature instructing style.

Attendance at the course itself is compulsory for certification and does not contribute to your self mastery hours.

The self mastery hours are specifically designed so that you can apply knowledge gained while attending the course to help advance and perfect your instructing style. As such all self mastery hours must be completed post your attendance of the VIVA Education course.
